MODULE 2 – LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understanding the effects of nutritional deficiencies and detoxification on the ageing process
  • Learn about the detoxification pathways and the consequence of the body’s inability to detoxify
  • Review treatment protocols for detoxification and improving nutritional deficiency states to decelerate the ageing process
  • Identify the effects of drug induced nutrient depletion and how to overcome them

MODULE 2 – LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Students will demonstrate an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the affects of nutritional deficiencies and detoxification on the ageing process
  • At the end of this module, students will be able to identify the biochemical process of detoxification pathways and the consequences of the body’s inability to detoxify
  • Clearly outline and review treatment protocols for detoxification and improving nutritional deficiency states to decelerate the ageing process
  • Students should be able to identify the effects of drug induced nutrient depletion and how to overcome this depletion using therapeutic nutritional doses
