Can we become prescribing nurses in our field of nursing?
or an endorsed nurse? 5 years experience within our speciality…..education……etc
Covering medicines:
xylocaine/ lignocaine
hylase
numbing creams
botulinum toxin type A
Does everyone still do nerve blocks? Which is better? numbing with creams or blocks?
I still like to do and nerve block with 2% xylocaine. It wears off within 40 mins and makes the procedure a lot more comfortable for the client. Particularly for the first time nervous client.
Can we be endorsed for these medications?
